Early Life
Amy Jean White was born on January 18, 1997, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, where family, faith, and community formed the foundation of her upbringing. As a child, she spent countless hours on the farm with her grandparents, reading books, and soaking up stories that helped her develop a deep love for words and people.
Despite being raised in a non-Christian home, Amy’s faith began to take root at an early age. Through moments of wonder, hardship, and grace, God began to gently pursue her heart. It wasn’t until her young adult years, however, that her personal relationship with Jesus became the true center of her life.
In 2015, Amy graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School before embarking on a six-month tour of England. The experiences she gained abroad would later shape her global perspective, deepen her empathy, and stir a call toward ministry.
