Personal Life

Amy met her husband, Jonathan, in the summer of 2018. They were married in December 2021, and in April 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Macie, into the world. Parenthood ushered in a new and transformative season of life for Amy—one marked by both unimaginable love and unexpected trials.

When Macie was born with complex medical needs, Amy’s world shifted overnight. What followed was a deeply refining journey through grief, healing, and a renewed dependence on God. Amid long hospital stays, therapy sessions, and a sea of medical unknowns, Amy encountered the strength of surrender and the beauty of a purpose she never could have scripted.

Today, Amy lives with her husband and daughter in Lawrence, Kansas. Her life at home is full of porch coffee chats, bedtime snuggles, and ordinary moments that have become sacred. It’s in these rhythms—both joyful and hard—that Amy continues to experience the everyday faithfulness of God.
