Philanthropy: Amy’s Story

Amy believes that every blessing is an opportunity to bless others. Her heart for giving is deeply rooted in her personal journey and her unwavering belief that lives can be transformed when compassion meets action. Through her philanthropic work, Amy seeks to uplift the most vulnerable—especially children with disabilities and the families who love them.

Amy is the founder of the Macie Jo Foundation, a nonprofit organization named after her daughter, whose life with a severe birth injury became the spark for a broader mission. The foundation exists to change the trajectory of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and advocate for families facing complex medical and developmental diagnoses. By funding research, equipping parents, and raising awareness, the Macie Jo Foundation is rewriting stories that once seemed hopeless.

Philanthropy is not an afterthought for Amy—it’s a central part of her calling. Whether through financial giving, speaking out on behalf of the underserved, or developing resources for special needs ministries, Amy is committed to stewarding her platform for good.

Her philanthropic work includes:

  • Disability Advocacy & Awareness – Championing dignity, inclusion, and access for children and families affected by disabilities.

  • Faith-Based Giving Initiatives – Supporting ministries, missionaries, and Gospel-centered nonprofits through strategic donations and partnerships.

  • Community Outreach – Creating opportunities for hands-on service and mobilizing others to love their neighbors through tangible acts of kindness.

  • Resources for Families in Crisis – Providing prayer guides, devotionals, and practical support to families walking through medical trauma, grief, or uncertainty.

Amy often says, “We don’t have to do everything, but we are called to do something.” Her philanthropy reflects this truth—anchored in humility, driven by faith, and aimed at lasting impact.
